The New York Post reports that Bob Casey’s campaign received over $220,000 from his brother’s personal injury law firm while allowing one of the firm’s partners to handpick nominees for dozens of federal judgeships throughout Pennsylvania.

The report is just the latest indication that the Casey family is cashing in on their political connections, following revelations that Casey paid over half a million dollars to his sister’s company and that another of Casey’s brothers recently registered to lobby for a company with ties to China.

“One thing is quickly becoming clear: Bob Casey and his family have spent decades cashing in on his Senate office and rigging the system to work for them. From shady backroom deals to getting rich off his campaign slush fund, the Casey Cartel puts themselves ahead of Pennsylvanians every time.” – NRSC Spokesman Philip Letsou
