After her brutal performance on Ralston Live, Cortez Masto hasn’t made a public appearance in nearly four weeks, raising an important question: Is Harry Reid’s handpicked candidate just not ready for primetime?

Next week’s Democrat presidential primary debate will bring national issues to Cortez Masto’s home field, but she’s shown no willingness to engage on topics that are important to voters. Since entering the race earlier this year, Cortez Masto has made her public appearances and statements few and far between, only popping up often enough to cast doubt on her ability to run in a tough race:

  • She promised to review the Iran nuclear deal and then took nearly two months to take a position.

  • She literally ran away from questions about a pressing matter of national security, then was stumped when it came time to finally explain her support for the agreement.

  • She organized a fundraiser with a prominent fellow Democrat and changed course at the last minute when she found out her headliner was a terrorist sympathizer.

  • Fellow Democrats hammered her for being uninformed.

  • And she stumbled on a softball question about supporting Hillary Clinton for President.

We can’t wait to see what Catherine Cortez Masto says next…if she ever comes out of hiding.
