Americans are confident in the strength of the economy so it’s no surprise that jobless claims are at a 45-year low, consumer confidence is continuing to rise and benefits from the GOP tax cuts are sweeping across the country. While Republicans will be able to run on a record of results for American families and small businesses, red state Democrats will have to explain to their constituents why they continue to choose obstruction over standing up for the middle class.
