As the Republican tax cuts continue to drive growth, the economy is thriving under President Trump and Republican leadership. Americans are confident in the strength of the economy so it’s no surprise that jobless claims are at a 45-year low, consumer confidence is continuing to rise and benefits from the GOP tax cuts are sweeping across the country. While Republicans will be able to run on a record of results for American families and small businesses, red state Democrats will have to explain to their constituents why they continue to choose obstruction over standing up for the middle class.
“American voters are seeing the benefits of the Republican tax cuts, and thanks to President Trump and Republicans in Congress, consumer confidence is up and jobless claims are at a 45-year low,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “Red state Democrats’ votes against commonsense policies like the GOP tax cuts will be fresh on voters’ minds in November, and folks will remember to vote their incumbent Democrat Senator out for standing in the way of economic progress.”
