Washington, D.C. – Tim Ryan is soft on crime. He has a weak record of backing the blue, wants to end cash bail and release half of U.S. prisoners. Yikes!

Rep. Tim Ryan, a Democrat running for Senate in Ohio, made headlines on the campaign trail after his 2019 ACLU presidential trail pledge to cut the prison population in half resurfaced.
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “At a time when crime is already at historic highs, Tim Ryan’s name still being on the ACLU pledge to cut the prison population in half is more than concerning. A vote for Tim Ryan is a vote to make Ohio communities less safe.”
