The billboard also features socialists like Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Ilhan Omar.
“Sweet’s embrace of radical positions like the Green New Deal and Medicare for All are more in line with socialists like AOC and Bernie Sanders than they are with Mainers,” said NRSC spokesperson Nathan Brand. “Following Sweet and AOC’s lead, Sara Gideon and Bre Kidman have joined the race to the left, falling in line with the socialist agenda of the most liberal members of their party.”
@BetsySweetME: We can have a Green New Deal
We can have Medicare for All.
We can have a $15 minimum wage.
It’s simply a matter of priorities. We need to elect people who put people’s lives ahead of corporate greed.
