WASHINGTON, D.C. — The federal government is on track to reopen in a major loss for Chris Pappas. Pappas voted to shut down the government and continue inflicting pain on Granite Staters all to give free healthcare to illegal aliens. Pappas’ primary opponent Karishma Manzur and Stefany Shaheen, daughter of Senator Jeanne Shaheen, also opposed the deal to reopen the government.
Pappas and Manzur’s opposition comes following New Hampshire’s Democrat Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan voting to open the government. Senator Shaheen even told reporters, “When I talk to my constituents in New Hampshire, you know what they say to me? They say, ‘Why can’t you all just work together to address the problems that are facing this country?'”
“Granite Staters won’t forget that Chuck Schumer’s puppet Chris Pappas supported the Democrat Shutdown and used hungry kids as political pawns in a desperate attempt to give free healthcare to illegal aliens,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
