President Donald Trump is now calling on Senator Tester to resign after multiple reports have disproven the allegations he levied against Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, who President Trump nominated to lead the VA.
In tweets this morning, the President said: “Allegations made by Senator Jon Tester against Admiral/Doctor Ron Jackson are proving false. The Secret Service is unable to confirm (in fact they deny) any of the phony Democrat charges which have absolutely devastated the wonderful Jackson family. Tester should resign.”
“President Trump is right. After shamefully peddling fake news to sully the reputation of a decorated veteran, Senator Tester should do the voters a favor and start packing up his office,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Senator Tester has shown he’s part of the problem in Washington and it’s time for him to go.”
