The NRSC is up this morning with a new TV ad highlighting Joe Manchin’s two-faced record on abortion.
Joe Manchin claims to be pro-life. But he has repeatedly voted to send taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion business. And last year he got caught trying to have it both ways, posing for pictures holding signs saying “We don’t need Planned Parenthood” and “I stand with Planned Parenthood.” The kicker? Those pictures were taken within a month of one another.

“Joe Manchin has proven he will say or do anything to get elected, but this time he got caught in the act,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “West Virginians won’t stand for Manchin’s shameless pandering on an issue as important as taxpayer funding for abortion providers, and will replace him this fall with Patrick Morrisey, a conservative fighter they can trust.”
