TWO New Ads in Maine: Gideon’s Summer
Hi all – The National Republican Senatorial Committee released two new TV ads (watch here and here) this morning in the Maine U.S. Senate race highlighting many of the things Mainers have learned about Democrat Sara Gideon as the summer of 2020 comes to a close.
This summer, Mainers learned that Gideon didn’t speak out when a Democrat in her caucus was accused of sexual assault, how she is a hypocrite on the Paycheck Protection Program, and how Gideon’s ads have repeatedly been deemed false and misleading.
“The summer of 2020 has been eyeopening for Mainers as they have learned the truth about Democrat Sara Gideon and her record of unethical, shady, and hypocritical behavior,” said NRSC spokesperson Nathan Brand. “Gideon refused to act when learning of an alleged sexual predator in her caucus, was exposed as a hypocrite on small business relief, and has been caught lying to Mainers with false and misleading TV ads. The summer may be coming to an end, but the truth about Sara Gideon continues to be revealed, and ultimately, Mainers know they can’t risk gambling on Gideon.”
