Washington, D.C. – The Squad is at it once again promoting the radical and dangerous defund the police movement.

Major cities across the country have seen large spikes in crime.  But ‘Squad’ member and Demings ally, Congresswoman Cori Bush, stood near the Capitol steps today espousing her support for defunding the police.

As a strong ally of the ‘Squad’, and a record of voting 94% of the time with its socialist members, we are curious to hear where Florida Congresswoman and Senate hopeful Val Demings stands on this issue.

Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Priscilla Ivasco: “As a former Police Chief and member of the law enforcement community, Val Demings should be vocal in her opposition to the radical Defund the Police movement espoused by her allies in the House. But as always, Demings ducks the tough issues. Floridians want to live in safe communities, but today’s Democrat Party has decided that pushing to defund the police is the best strategy. This is not what Floridians want or need. Demings’ decision to not speak up for the men and women who put their lives at risk each day to protect our communities sends a clear message that she is too liberal for Florida.”
