Washington, D.C. – Meet Val Demings’ latest radical pal: American Federation of Teachers Chief Randi Weingarten.
During Demings’ speech at the AFT conference this past Sunday in Boston, she praises her pal as “the amazing Randi Weingarten.” This is the same Weingarten that has spent her time the last few years keeping students out of the classroom, masking young students, impeding their education and pushing for the radical Left’s indoctrination through Critical Race Theory.
She’s also upset about efforts to keep critical race theory out of the classroom, insisting it’s a bid to make kids “hate each other.” In fact, it’s about not imposing far-out racist thinking that pushes children to see everything in strict racial categories. –NY Post
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Priscilla Ivasco: “Val Demings is hanging with the wrong crowd. Weingarten has embraced a full-on attack on parents’ involvement in their own kids’ education and her extreme COVID measures have hurt students’ education across the country. Does Demings fully support Weingarten’s anti-student and anti-parent agenda? Florida families deserve to know.”
