Washington, D.C. – Val Demings is spending the day hanging out with radical DC liberals again. She is heading to Chicago to fundraise with Speaker Nancy Pelosi for Jan Schakowsky.

Meanwhile her colleague Florida Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy is once again speaking up against the Democrat Party’s inability to address the root cause of the oil and gas crisis. After yesterday’s vote in the House on the Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act, Murphy, who voted with Republicans against the bill, didn’t hold back:

“Murphy in a statement on Thursday said the price-gouging bill “takes the wrong approach,” claiming that it “could further reduce supply” and worsen the current situation.

“At best, this bill is a distraction that won’t actually address the problem. At worst, it could make the problem more severe,” Murphy wrote. – The Hill

We aren’t surprised Demings would prefer to jet set with her radical Pal Pelosi than actually fight for Florida families.

Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Priscilla Ivasco: “Pelosi’s Puppet Val Demings continues to vote in lock step with DC Democrats and refuses to do or say anything that will actually benefit Floridians. She continues to prove that she isn’t ready for statewide office, instead she is more focused on keeping her party leaders happy.”
