WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new ad today slamming Ken Paxton for dragging his feet instead of fighting for Texas values.

“Texas needs a strong, conservative Senator in Washington who is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and fight for Texas values, not an incompetent Ken Paxton who drags his feet on banning critical race theory in schools and worked to block President Trump’s historic investment in the Lone Star State,” said NRSC Communications Director Joanna Rodriguez.

Instead of fighting for Texas values, Paxton drags his feet:

  • Paxton waited for more than two years to file a lawsuit against an independent school district that was teaching critical race theory.
  • As President Trump brought American manufacturing back to Texas, Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against the company investing $5.9 billion in Houston.
  • Paxton “urged patience on the issue of” school vouchers, “saying he didn’t know whether he would support them.”
  • Ken Paxton supported a school voucher ban.
  • Under Paxton, American citizens are 26% more likely to be convicted of homicide than illegal aliens, per the Cato Institute
  • Despite championing school choice, Ken Paxton went after thirteen Texas private schools for fraud.
