Elizabeth Warren is busy on her latest book tour, but she took the time to pose with an ad for her donors today.

Warren, who just published a book subtitled “The Battle to Save America’s Middle Class,” has made a career out of bashing the financial services industry. But she took time out of her busy day hawking books in Union Square (coincidentally at the same book store where failed Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton kicked off her 2014 book tour) to pose for a picture with a high profile piece of corporate art placed by State Street Global Advisors. State Street, a financial services company managing $2.4 trillion in assets, made headlines with its placement of the statue, which is an advertisement for an index fund managed by the company.

But wait, it gets even better! Anna Massoglia, a researcher for Open Secrets, tweets that Warren was a top Senate recipient of donations by State Street’s employees during her 2012 campaign! It turns out Elizabeth Warren is not only a shameless hypocrite, she’s also auditioning to be a spokeswoman for one of her financial backers!
