In case you missed it, Angie Nixon—the socialist running for U.S. Senate in Florida— refused to say if Cuba is a dictatorship.
“Angie Nixon is a socialist, so it’s no surprise Nixon is appeasing Cuba’s communist regime—a national security threat sitting less than 100 miles off Florida’s shores. Freedom-loving Floridians and Cubans alike cannot trust Nixon to stand up to Cuba’s brutal regime,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
Here’s what people are saying about Nixon cozying up to Cuba’s communist regime:
Senator Ashley Moody: “Socialist Angie can’t answer if Cuba is a dictatorship? I guess now we know why she voted against the Florida law to require schools to teach the dangers of communism.”
Senator Rick Scott: “Like many of her Democrat colleagues who can’t seem to define what a woman is, we now have a candidate for the U.S. Senate who can’t define a dictatorship.”
Marc Caputo, Axios: “This is how Democrats lose elections in Miami-Dade. And they need to win Miami-Dade to win Florida.”
Clay Travis, Outkick: “The Florida Democrat candidate for senate declines to say Cuba is a dictatorship. Says she has been told that, but hasn’t seen it herself. I’m sure this will help her already floundering candidacy. “
Josh Kraushaar, Jewish Insider: “Disqualifying comment in Florida.”
Eric Michael Garcia, MSNOW: “¡Dios Mio!”
Jim Geraghty, National Review: “Hey, is Cuba a big deal in Florida?”
Florida Politics: “@AngieNixon said she has to take others’ word if Cuba is a dictatorship.”
