NRSC Weekly Rundown: New ad: High Five Heidi, Schumer goes to Hollywood, everything sucks for Manchin and more!

And here’s this week’s edition of the NRSC Weekly Rundown:

National: A new SurveyMonkey poll released this week found that the majority of Americans now support the GOP tax cuts, making an already tough election even tougher for red state Democrats who voted against the legislation.

National: Chuck Schumer and five red state Democrats headed down to Hollywood this week to attend a fundraiser at the home of Disney CEO Bob Iger. Things probably got a bit awkward seeing as Disney was one of the over 300 companies to announce employee bonuses in response to the GOP tax relief plan Schumer and his Democratic colleagues voted against.

New Ad: The NRSC launched a radio ad  highlighting Heidi Heitkamp’s now infamous high five with Chuck Schumer after voting against the five-month abortion ban. Heidi Heitkamp also chose to vote against legislation that would punish dangerous sanctuary cities.

#AZSen: Nancy Pelosi was in Kyrsten Sinema’s backyard this week campaigning to repeal the Republican tax cuts that have already allowed Arizonans to keep more of their hard-earned cash. But does Sinema, who voted against the tax cuts, agree they should be repealed?

#INSen: After sending out a press release desperately attempting to link himself to President Trump last week, Mexico Joe Donnelly sent out an email bashing Vice President Mike Pence. The red state Democrat’s complicated reelection campaign has left him walking a tightrope.

#NVSen: Q4 fundraising numbers showed that Jacky Rosen took nearly 90% of her cash from out-of-state donors, raising twice as much from Chuck Schumer’s home state of New York than from Nevada. No wonder she votes in lockstep with the liberal elite.

#WVSen: Netflix just launched a new series called Everything Sucks. Surprisingly, it’s not about Joe Manchin, whose time in Washington has really sucked lately.

#MTSen: Jon Tester officially announced his campaign for reelection, making it a perfect time to remind Montana voters of his far-left record of voting to protect dangerous sanctuary cities, for the Schumer Shutdown and against the Republican tax cuts.
