NRSC Weekly Rundown: Mexico Joe gets protestors, Tammy’s playing the blame-game, Senate Dems want impeachment and more!
And here’s this week’s edition of the NRSC Weekly Rundown:
National: Billionaire Tom Steyer is vowing to spend on red state Democrats’ behalf this fall. So, since they’re willing to accept his help, voters deserve to know if red state Dems agree that President Trump should be impeached.
#NDSen: To remind voters of Heidi Heitkamp‘s support of 8 years of the Obama administration’s disastrous policies, the NRSC ran digital ad searches around Joe Biden‘s North Dakota visit.
#INSen: Mexico Joe Donnelly got some visitors to his office in Hammond, as a group of pro-life activists stopped by to protest his abysmal record on abortion.
#NVSen: In an interview this week, Jacky Rosen spouted off a number of phony talking points defending her failed record and close ties to Nancy Pelosi. With California liberals like Tom Steyer flocking to influence Rosen’s campaign and a record of voting with Pelosi 90% of the time, it’s clear Rosen isn’t concerned with representing Nevadans.
#WISen: Tammy Baldwin went on Morning Joe this week to defend her sinking approval ratings, blaming “out-of-state special interests.” But it’s clear Wisconsinites have soured on Baldwin because of her out of touch record, including her vote against middle-class tax cuts.
#PASen: Good news from the GOP tax reform continues to benefit folks at home. Pennsylvanians at Erie Insurance will be getting $1,000 bonuses and boosts to their 401(k)s thanks to the tax relief plan Bob Casey voted against.
