FEINGOLD FLASHBACK:
- "I don’t think there’s anything wrong with occasional out-of-state campaign contributions. But you better darn well make sure that a majority of what you receive is from the people whom you would represent." (Russ Feingold, Democratic Senate Primary Debate, 8/28/92)
In the debut TV ad of his eighth campaign for public office, Senator Feingold boasts making appearances across "all 72 counties."
Yet, as he fails to even mention the word "Wisconsin," Senator Feingold leaves into question which 72 counties he visited.
With 58 counties in California and another 14 in Massachusetts – two states fueling his campaign, where exactly are the "72 counties" in the ad meant to reintroduce himself to the people of Wisconsin?
