While Mary Peltola’s campaign continues to spiral, Senator Dan S. Sullivan is delivering for Alaska.
Sullivan secured $315 million for Coast Guard infrastructure in Kodiak through his Alaska Opportunity Act. The investment is bringing two new icebreakers, two offshore patrol cutters, and hundreds of new Coasties and their families to Kodiak.
Meanwhile, Mary Peltola is cratering as she refuses to personally answer questions about her physical abuse of staff and disgusting comments, including that she wished an Alaskan died from a botched abortion.
- Peltola also got caught using imagery in an ad of a factory trawler to attack the trawling industry. Peltola’s ad shows “a trawl net destructively plowing the seafloor” in Turkey, not Alaska.
- Peltola will not answer how she plans to support Alaska’s rural communities while banning factory trawling.
Reminder: Peltola couldn’t get one bill signed into law in Congress and sponsored zero fishing bills during her term.
