Jon Ossoff — who voted against funding for DHS and paying Secret Service — is refusing to condemn the left-wing assassination attempt on President Trump and his administration.
Ossoff is so scared of enraging his base of radicals like Hasan Piker, who called for Republican Senator Rick Scott’s murder, that he refuses to condemn political violence and fund DHS.
Ossoff’s charged rhetoric and hatred for law enforcement has only thrown gasoline on the fire. Ossoff:
- Slanders President Trump as an “authoritarian.”
- Called on his radical base to “defeat and reject authoritarianism.”
- Fear-mongered that the “stakes…[in the Senate race] could not be higher” as “the nation spirals into authoritarianism.”
- Compared President Trump’s cabinet meetings to “something out of North Korea.”
- Said President Trump wants to “crush the political opposition” and recklessly accused Republicans of “authoritarianism” shortly after Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
“Jon Ossoff’s reckless political rhetoric against President Trump is dangerous and it must stop. Defunding DHS and refusing to condemn this left-wing assassination attempt on President Trump and his administration further proves Ossoff is beholden to the radical left,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
