In "the largest single transfer of the Obama administration," 15 "high-risk" detainees were transferred from Guantanamo Bay to the UAE.

The move eliminated a fifth of Gitmo’s remaining population.

Given the disturbing statistics outlined yesterday by The Wall Street Journal, this means that roughly three more detainees will re-engage in the hostile actions responsible for the deaths of Americans.

How will Barack Obama’s reckless decision to release even more Gitmo prisoners rank on the Katie McGinty applause meter?

FLASHBACK:

  • McGinty Applauded Barack Obama’s Efforts To Close Guantanamo Bay. "Former state Environmental Protection Secretary Katie McGinty said in a statement that she ‘applauds’ the president’s effort…" (Laura Olson, "Joe Sestak Talks Guantanamo Bay Closure, National Security During Allentown Campaign Stop," The Morning Call, 2/23/16)

Pennsylvanians shouldn’t hold their breaths for an answer anytime soon.
Nearly two weeks later, McGinty is still remaining silent on Obama’s $400 million ransom payment to the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.
