During this quarter alone, Feingold has traveled to Stanford frequently enough to earn Premier Silver status on United Airlines. Perhaps Feingold can use his extra miles to collect more cash from the out-of-state donors who fuel his campaign.

Even to his campaign supporters, Feingold is known for spending too much time outside of Wisconsin.

Earlier this year, Wisconsin Democratic Party chair Martha Laning explained the Feingold campaign’s concern with the amount of time that Senator Feingold spent in Washington:

…we never want to say ‘go back to the Senate,’ we just want to say ‘electing him to the Senate.’ They want to totally get away from all that,” Laning added.

Is the Feingold campaign as concerned about the time spent thousands of miles away in California?

Will Professor Feingold go back to Stanford or will he want to totally get away from all that?
