Washington, D.C. – The Democrats’ disarray is on full display in the House with their wayward attempts to pass a $3.5 trillion reckless tax and spending spree. Over on the other side of the Capitol, the question is simpler.
Will Senate Democrats fail to fulfill the most basic duty of governing – funding the government?
It sure looks like it. A potential government shutdown is merely four days away, and Senate Democrats have no plans to avoid a shutdown, despite controlling each legislative lever in Washington. It seems Senate Democrats are too focused on an arbitrary timeline for ramming through their reckless tax and spending spree than actually doing their jobs.
