The Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee will meet today for a confirmation hearing on President-elect Trump’s nominee for Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos. Tammy Baldwin, who sits on that committee, has already promised to cause chaos to please her liberal base but will she really put partisan political theater before our country’s educational system?
“Wisconsin’s own Elizabeth Warren clone, Tammy Baldwin, is an extreme partisan from Madison who would rather create chaos than focus on our nation’s educational system,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “The election results made it clear that folks in Wisconsin want a fresh start in Washington, but Tammy continues to use the old liberal Democrat playbook that advises gridlock at every turn.”
