Jason Kander is back to his old ways tomorrow, raising money in Washington, D.C. with Democrat party boss Chuck Schumer and powerful lobbyist Tony Podesta. It’s just another chapter in the saga of a serial panderer who makes empty promises to Missouri and then happily breaks them at the first opportunity.

Kander has a habit of saying one thing and doing another, especially when it comes to rubbing elbows with the insider crowd. He’s made multiple promises to stand up to lobbyists and Washington power brokers, but is all too happy to line his pockets with their campaign contributions.

VIDEO: On February 23, 2015, Kander Promised Supporters He Would Stand Up To Lobbyists. “I’m running to be Missouri’s senator because it is time that we have someone who stood up for the middle class, not millionaires, huge corporations, and lobbyists.” (Boone County Democrats Chili Dinner, Columbia, MO, 2/23/15)

  • KANDER: “I’m Running To Be Missouri’s Senator. I’m Running Because We Deserve A Senator Who Stands Up For The Middle Class, Not Millionaires, Huge Corporations, And Lobbyists.” (Jason Kander, Warrensburg, MO, 3/28/15, 8:56)

This isn’t the first time Kander has collected a big payday with the help of Schumer, the Democrats’ leader-in-waiting.

  • “Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid’s leadership PAC, for example, gave Kander $10,000, as did Sen. Chuck Schumer, the New York Democrat who is poised to become his party’s Senate leader when Reid retires.” *(Deirdre Shesgreen, “Blunt, Kander Scoop Up Big Dollars On Campaign Trail,” Springfield News-Leader, 8/14/15)

Jason Kander can’t seem to stop his pandering ways, proving he’ll do anything to get to Washington. Unfortunately for Missouri families, they’ll be the ones left to deal with his trail of broken promises as Kander continues to curry favor with Washington insiders.
