The NRSC launched a new TV ad in Pennsylvania, “Messenger.” The ad targets Katie McGinty, who as Department of Environmental Protection Secretary, funneled millions of dollars to the organization that employed her husband. The ad is running in the Philadelphia media market beginning today.
“Katie McGinty’s decision to funnel taxpayer-funded grants to an organization that employed her husband inspired not only an ethics investigation, but a unanimous judgement that her behavior was inappropriate. No matter McGinty’s role, one factor has remained consistent throughout her career – ‘Shady Katie’ places self-service above public service.”
