Senator John Thune is the senior U.S. senator from South Dakota. John has dedicated his life to public service, serving in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the U.S. Senate since 2005. Sen. Thune is the Senate Republican whip. He and his wife, Kimberley live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and have two daughters and five grandchildren.
