The release of the May jobs report revealed 223,000 new jobs were added, bringing unemployment down to 3.8 percent – an 18-year low. In addition to the new jobs, over 4 million people and counting are benefiting from Trump’s tax reform bonuses, which no Democrat supported.

According to The Chicago Tribune, 90 percent of Americans will have more take-home pay as results of the tax cuts. This makes a real difference for families and communities. Costco, Starbucks, Walmart and hundreds of other businesses have announced pay bonuses, paid family leave, and other benefits. The tax cuts that Democrats opposed have meant more money in your pocket – and less in Washington’s coffers.
Partisan Democrats aren’t as excited as the millions of happy American working families, claiming that this great news “means little” to American families. They’re also refusing to admit the tax cuts are working despite the New York Times “running out of words to describe how good the jobs numbers are.” It’s clear that while a healthy and prosperous economy is good news for Americans, it’s bad for the Democrats who are going to have a tough time explaining why they obstructed such positive economic reforms.
