Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) voted to shut down the federal government today. Craig voted to shut down critical government services, delay paychecks to military service members, risk veterans’ healthcare, and reduce resources for law enforcement.
“Angie Craig is a hypocrite who lashed out at Republicans in 2018 over government funding for ‘putting politics above people,’ and now she’s doing just that,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “Craig’s vote to shut down the government shows she cares more about scoring partisan political points to survive the Democrats’ messy Minnesota Senate primary than delivering for Minnesota families.”
