Cory Gardner has proved over and over again that he never stops working for Coloradans. In just the last few months, Cory has been getting big results for Colorado – and he’s not done yet!
✅ BLM Headquarters
Cory spent years building support with local Colorado officials, Congress, and the Trump administration to be able to facilitate the relocation of Bureau of Land Management Headquarters. The move of BLM HQ to Colorado will put it in a position to better protect public lands by closer proximity to the lands they manage.
✅ More Affordable Health Care
Cory heard Coloradans concerns on rising health care costs, so he acted. He worked to approve Colorado’s reinsurance waiver that will end up saving the Coloradans with insurance more than 20 percent. Cory is also working on a bill to provide more physicians to rural areas of Colorado.
✅ 988 Suicide Hotline
The suicide rates have been rising in Colorado, especially among young people in rural counties. Cory worked hard to shorten the suicide hotline to three digits, 988, making it more easily accessible to those who need it. He is also working to implement mental healthcare in schools across the state.
✅ Better Care for Vets
Cory never stops caring for our veterans. The shortened 988 suicide hotline was also designed to help provide better care for veterans. The hotline has a veteran-specific line to make sure someone is always available to speak to veterans in crisis.
✅ Improving Colorado Economy
Cory is constantly finding ways to make sure Colorado’s economy is strong and Coloradans are growing and thriving. He has successfully passed legislation to provide critical resources to Colorado law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency response teams.
He introduced legislation that makes opening or expanding small businesses easier. Cory also secured funding grants to combat the methamphetamine crisis in Colorado.
✅ 2nd Most Bipartisan Senator
Cory was named the 2nd most bipartisan in the Senate because he will work across the aisle to always provide the best for Colorado. He knows that the best way to get things done is to work together and won’t let partisan politics get in the way.
✅ Clean Drinking Water Pipeline
The clean drinking water pipeline is a huge win for Colorado. Nearly 60 years after the idea was introduced by JFK, Cory got the job done. This pipeline will provide cleaner, safer drinking water to 50,000 Coloradans.
✅ Land and Water Conservation Fund
Most recently, Cory got the support of President Trump to secure much-needed permanent funding for the Land and Water Conseravation Fund. This funding will make sure our national parks are preserved for generations to come.
