WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released the following statement after Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) announced she would enter the Texas Democrat primary for U.S. Senate:
“Jasmine Crockett leading her primary is the latest sign that the Democrat Party is being run by radical leftists,” said NRSC Communications Director Joanna Rodriguez. “Crockett said herself no Texas Democrat is beating John Cornyn, and the threat of her in the U.S. Senate makes it clearer now than ever that Cornyn is the only conservative who will keep Texas red and safeguard President Trump’s Senate Majority.”
Crazy radical Jasmine Crockett is wrong for Texas:
- Crockett called ICE agents “slave patrols.“
- After Socialist Zohran Mamdani’s win in the New York City mayoral race, Crockett said Democrats should take a “MasterClass” from him.
- Crockett referred to Texas Governor Greg Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels.”
- Crockett said Democrats need to “punch” to win elections and insisted her rhetoric was not advocating for political violence.
- Regarding Ted Cruz she said, “This dude has to be knocked over the head, like, hard … there is no niceties with him … you go clean off on him.”
