After previously supporting the overreaching Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule, Jon Tester flipped his vote today.

In 2015, Tester voted in favor of the WOTUS rule after the Montana Farm Bureau Federation said it was the “biggest property rights violation affecting farmers and ranchers in Montana.”

And just last month, he dismissed Republicans’ efforts to roll back Biden’s new WOTUS rule.

NRSC Statement: “Jon Tester is flip-flopping his position on WOTUS because he is going to face Montana voters in 2024. This foxhole conversion won’t fool anyone.”  — NRSC Spokeswoman Maggie Abboud
