Ruben Gallego just flip-flopped again on the border.

In February 2023, Gallego voted against a House resolution that would nullify a D.C. law allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections. After a year of reversing his positions on the border and trying to erase his history of public comments mocking the border crisis, Gallego joined other vulnerable Democrats in voting for a bill that prohibits non-citizens from voting in D.C. elections.

NRSC Statement: “Last year, Ruben Gallego supported allowing illegal immigrants to vote in local elections, but now he’s looking for political cover to try and fool Arizonans into thinking he’s tough on the border. It’s hard to imagine a more shameless politician than Ruben Gallego.” – NRSC Spokesman Tate Mitchell
