In tonight’s debate, Mississippians got to see first-hand just how out-of-touch Mike Espy is with Mississippi values.
Espy stumbled through his answers, looking desperately for ways to spin the truth that he’s a crook so corrupt even Bill and Crooked Hillary had to tell him to resign.
And if that weren’t bad enough, Espy proved that on every issue from abortion and gun control to building the wall and raising taxes, he’s just too liberal for Mississippi.
“Tonight’s debate highlighted the stark contrast between Mississippi’s conservative fighter, Cindy Hyde-Smith and Chuck Schumer’s corrupt Washington liberal, Mike Espy,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Mississippi already had to drain the swamp of Mike Espy once for his crooked behavior and voters aren’t going to fall for the same phony act a second time around.”
