The Washington Post reports that Joe Manchin spent Labor Day in the Hamptons discussing leaving the Democratic Party and running for re-election to the Senate as an independent.
This comes after Manchin “shaped the Inflation Reduction Act, one of Biden’s signature domestic policy accomplishments,” bankrolled the left’s green agenda, and tanked his poll numbers in West Virginia.
