Joe Manchin’s political career is circling the drain, so he is trying to save face by flirting with becoming an independent. That’s why the NRSC is out with a new ad slamming Manchin’s record of backing Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer’s agenda just like any Democrat in the U.S. Senate.
Manchin says he “identifies as a Democrat,” votes with Joe Biden 88 percent of the time, and even wrote Biden’s signature green energy spending bill – putting one of West Virginia’s top industries at risk.
