Yesterday Tammy Baldwin voted against an amendmentoffered by Senator James Lankford that would have prevented future government shutdowns by forcing Congress to stay at work until the appropriations process is finished each year.
Baldwin joined her Democrat colleagues in voting to maintain the status quo, despite approval ratings for Congress hitting a near record low in the midst of the most recent shutdown fight.
